About the Conference Proposals to modernise the Society’s structures in Scotland were announced earlier this year. The principle underpinning the proposed changes is the desire to ensure that we are able to offer an appropriate level of service to all people living with MS wherever they live in Scotland. The details of how this should work have been open to full consultation with the membership and branches over the last few months. A consultative process started in June with a detailed questionnaire being sent to all members of the Society in Scotland. A total of 266 people responded, with 59% of those being branch members and 33% national ones. Simultaneously a series of local roadshows were held offering all branches the opportunity to feed their views into the process.
